Construction Management Technology Student Receives Award from Construction Financial Management Association ĢƵ Chapter

ĢƵ Tech student Joshua Michael Haines was recently recognized for his outstanding achievements in the Construction Management Technology program.

Each year, the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) ĢƵ Chapter generously awards Construction Management Technology students with $500 gifts for their education at ĢƵ Technical Community College. Award recipients are selected by faculty in the Energy and Engineering department based on criteria such as their commitment to pursuing their education, involvement in activities within the department, willingness to help fellow classmates, and grade point average.

The Construction Management Technology program prepares students for careers in the office of a construction company. The combination of architecture, civil engineering and construction courses provides students with a solid foundation necessary to succeed in construction and its related industries. "The CFMA award not only recognizes our students’ dedication but also serves as a powerful motivator for them to excel in their academic pursuits," said Dr. Heidi Gurdo, department chair at the Stanton campus.
