ĢƵ Tech Celebrates 2026 Practical Nursing Graduates at Pinning Ceremonies
August 27, 2026
ĢƵ Technical Community College celebrated 27 graduates from its practical nursing studies program (PN) during pinning ceremonies on July 29 and July 30 at both the Stanton Campus and the Owens Campus in Georgetown. Graduates at each ceremony received a symbolic pin to mark their completion of the program.
The PN Program at ĢƵ Tech prepares individuals to function under the direction of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician or dentist. Individuals acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities and are academically prepared to advance in nursing education. A PN studies graduate is eligible to take the licensure exam as an LPN, allowing the graduate to provide vital hands-on nursing care in various settings.
