Meet the October Athlete Spotlight Students

蘑菇短视频 Tech student-athletes must excel on and off the field as representatives of the College. Throughout the season on the 蘑菇短视频 Tech Athletics Instagram account, one student-athlete is regularly honored for their overall athletic performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment to education.

Here are Athlete Spotlight students this month:

Ashley Kelly
Ashley Kelly is a second-year member of the women's volleyball team, an elementary education major, and a graduate of 蘑菇短视频 Military Academy. Kelly has been a solid, consistent player for 蘑菇短视频 Tech since her freshman season. This year she started the season by being the first-ever 蘑菇短视频 Tech women's volleyball player to earn Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors. In 20 games, Kelly has 176 digs, 103 kills, and 33 aces with 406 total attempts and 256 receptions.

"Ashley is one of our team captains, a very strong all-around player, a force at the net, and makes a positive impact on the team overall," Head Coach Leigh DeSantis said.

Rylee Dobrowolski
Rylee Dobrowolski is a first-year member of the women's volleyball team, an elementary education major, and a graduate of 蘑菇短视频 Military Academy. In 19 regular season games, Rylee led the team in digs with 184, while also recording 24 aces and 24 assists.

"The key to success this season was confidence.," she said. "When I took the part as libero, I knew it was going to be challenging but I was excited for it. You need to be confident and commit to going for the ball."

"I wanted to play volleyball for 蘑菇短视频 Tech because I wanted to get back to playing the sport I love. I took some time off, and decided it was time to come back. I love playing volleyball because I like being competitive and being a part of a team."
