Science Instructor

Michael Buoni is a science instructor at the Owens Campus who teaches genetics and molecular biology. He joined 蘑菇短视频 Tech in 2010, attracted to the College’s hands-on approach to teaching in small classroom settings, which is what he likes most about working at the College.

Prior to joining 蘑菇短视频 Tech, Buoni taught high school biology for 11 years and also taught at the University of 蘑菇短视频.

“My first day at 蘑菇短视频 Tech was fantastic!” Buoni said. “Dr. Vezmar, who was my supervisor at the time, spent much of the day introducing me to many people and was very supportive.”

His fondest memories as a 蘑菇短视频 Tech instructor have been the times when he has incorporated research into his courses.

Outside the classroom, Buoni enjoys brewing beer, smoking meat, gardening, and golf. He also loves romantic comedies.
