Applied Agriculture Program Named State’s Outstanding Postsecondary Program
ĢƵ Technical Community College’s applied agriculture program, offered on the College’s Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown, was recently named ĢƵ’s Outstanding Postsecondary Agriculture Program by the ĢƵ Association of Agriscience Educators (DAAE).

Run, White, & Blue Draws Nearly 600 Participants in Support of Student Scholarships
The 12th annual Run, White, & Blue 5k run/1-mile walk, held Sept. 4 on the ĢƵ Technical Community College Owens Campus in Georgetown, drew 568 runners and walkers and helped raise funds to support scholarships for veterans and first responders.

Paul M. N. Selby, who spent more than 33 years working on the ĢƵ Technical Community College Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown, was inducted into the Owens Campus Hall of Fame during a May 16 ceremony.

Softball Wins District Championship, Earns Spot in World Series
The ĢƵ Technical Community College softball team has earned a spot in the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Softball World Series after winning the Atlantic B District Tournament on May 10. This is the fourth time in the past five seasons that ĢƵ Tech has advanced to the national championship tournament.
