Eighteen of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Technical Community College’s student-athletes from three different fall 2022 teams recently earned Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) All-Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Team honors.

Myles Surpasses 1,000 Career Points for Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech Basketball
Sophomore Syed Myles made history this season when he surpassed 1,000 career points with the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Technical Community College men's basketball team. At the very least, Myles is the first basketball player to accomplish such a feat in the past 10 seasons.

For the past two years, Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Technical Community College's softball team has pulled off the rare feat of winning both the region and district championships. If this year's team can match that success, they will do something that's not just rare, but unprecedented in program history.

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech Baseball Enters 2023 Ready to Challenge for a Region Title
Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech's baseball team had a tremendous 2022 regular season, finishing with a 31-7 record and the top seed in the NJCAA Region 19 Championship Tournament. Unfortunately, the team went 1-3 in the postseason and was eliminated before the championship game.

Wreaths Across America Visits Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech's Stanton Campus
The country’s longest veterans’ parade, Wreaths Across America’s annual “Escort to Arlington,” stopped at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech’s Stanton Campus on Dec. 15. The 12-truck convoy passed through Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ on its way to Arlington National Cemetery to deliver wreaths to our nation’s interred veterans.

JPMorgan Chase Grant Allows Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech to Launch 1+1 Program at Howard High School of Technology
On Friday, December 9, representatives from Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech and JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) joined students, teachers, and administrators at Howard High School of Technology to celebrate its first 1+1 IT program, thanks to a $285,000 grant from JPMC.

Culinary students from Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Technical Community College showed off their skills at the 11th annual Taste of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ in Washington, D.C., hosted by the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ State Chamber of Commerce and honorary host U.S. Senator Chris Coons.

The 2022 Run, White & Blue 5k, held Sept. 8 at the Owens Campus in Georgetown, raised over $19,000 for scholarships for veterans and first responders through sponsorship and participation.

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech’s 9th annual Run, White & Blue 5k/1-mile Walk, held Sept. 8 at the Owens Campus in Georgetown, raised over $19,000 for scholarships for veterans and first responders.

World War II Veteran Speaks at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech for Veterans Day
Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Technical Community College hosted Ray Firmani, a 101-year-old World War II veteran, as part of its Veterans Day programming on Nov. 11. Firmani was a B-17 co-pilot in the 486th Heavy Bombardment Group of the mighty 8th Air Force in World War II.

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Technical Community College's men's basketball program shocked Region 19 of the National Junior College Athletic Association back in February by closing out the final few weeks of the regular season strong and rolling through the NJCAA Region 19 tournament en route to a championship vict

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Technical Community College’s women’s volleyball team won the 2022 NJCAA Region 19 Division II Women’s Volleyball Championship on Oct. 29 at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Tech’s Stanton Campus in Newark, becoming region champions for the first time since 2016.
